A 4 day stay in Istanbul visiting the historical centre on foot. A ferry ride across the Sea of Marmara to the Asian shore where you pick up your car and spend 7 days driving down the Aegean Coast visiting Gallipoli, Troy, Assos, Pergamum and Ephesus. Dropping off your car in Izmir you now sample a train journey to the capital, Ankara. Here you visit the famous Anatolian Museum of Civilizations. Your next experience is a coach trip...not too long though ! After a four hour bus journey via the Salt Lake you reach Cappadocia. You are collected from the bus-station by Murat who runs the Ukabeyn Lodge at Mustafapasa. With the freedom of now not having a car you can do a couple of organized excursions to get to know the area, and then spend the rest of your stay walking or using the Lodge’s mountain bikes. You can also explore the Cappadocian valleys on horse-back where soft under-hoof trails take you through a surrealistic landscape. Seven days later from Kayseri airport ( Caesarea Mazaca) you return to Istanbul. .

EARLY CHRISTIAN SITES.15-20 days.
A journey by car from Antioch to Izmir which gives the possibility to visit Tarsus, Anemurium, Antalya, Myra, Patara, Hieropolis, Collosae and the Seven Churches of Revelation: Laodicia, Thyatira, Smyrna, Sardis, Philadelphia and Pergamum.
